- What is digital photography?
- What is the difference between film and digital photography?
- What are Mega pixels and sensors?
- Where does my camera store the pictures I take?
- What is the difference between all these different storage mediums: Compact flash, SD, XD, Card readers, storage devices, etc?
Session 2: Understanding your camera’s dials and their functions to take good photos
- Make your pictures dramatic using light manipulation
- Take action shots using speed manipulation
- Use correct exposure for pictures that are not too bright or too dark
- Use EV compensation to improve brightness and contrast
- Use the fundamentals above in concert to take quality pictures.
- Make your photos more appealing by learning how to shoot for good composition, balance, contrast, shapes, etc.
Session 3: How to use your digital camera’s manual settings to take the pictures you want.
- Further manipulation of your camera’s dials and functions
